I thought this was a pretty good class. We talked about "the dot" in rhythmic notation. (Here's my powerpoint on that if you want to review.) We focused on 3/4 time for a little while, and then we did a few dictation exercises. I am happy we are moving forward. :)
Homework #4 is still in process.
Assignment #4: Scales and Tunes
Worksheet #4 asks you to work out two major scales on a piano keyboard, and then label the notes for two melodies. Major scales are covered on pp. 27-28 in our theory text and key sigs are introduced on p. 29.
This worksheet is due on Wednesday, Sept 17.
