OK, THIS was a serious guitar day. We spent a lot of time just figuring out how to play in C major + doing our simple tunes from the book. Then we tackled G major and did melody #20. I have a new homework for you that continues along these lines.
Assignment #4: Scales and Tunes
Worksheet #4 asks you to work out two major scales on a piano keyboard, and then label the notes for two melodies. Major scales are covered on pp. 27-28 in our theory text and key sigs are introduced on p. 29.
