All right, on the first day back after the test we will dig into a new theory topic (minor scales!) and I'll set up the schedule for the singing quiz next week.
Homework #7: Minor Scales and Key Sigs
Worksheet #7 asks you to make some minor scales, figure out a few minor key signatures, and make the special "harmonic" minor flavor. All of this is documented in Chapter 11 of our theory textbook.
This worksheet is due on Wednesday, Feb 18.
Singing and Rhythms Quiz #1, Friday Feb 20
On Friday, Feb 20 we will do individual 10-minute appointments for an ear-training quiz. The Prep Sheet includes a few items you should prepare in advance (i.e. one rhythm and then one out of three melodies).

How to make a tutoring appointment w/ Prof. Smey
I don't actually have an office here at Manhattan University, so I don't do a proper "office hour" where I am always here at the same time every week. However, I am very much willing to do individual appointments with any student. Feel free to contact me and request a session!
Obviously it is best for me if we book an appointment that is somewhat close to my classes. These are the times that I would be most happy to do.
