Class 12Tuesday, February 11

In this class we finally started reading bass clef, and we got back into the minor scale. We practiced some minor key signatures and I told you about the three "flavors" of minor (natural, harmonic and melodic). We looked at a popular Bach Bourrée that seems to use what we call the melodic minor.

Homework #7 is new.

Homework #7: Minor Scales

Homework #7 asks you to make a few natural and "harmonic" minor scales. Includes a little bass clef! Page 4 is your reference for bass clef in the textbook and pp. 32-41 covers all of this minor business.

This worksheet is due on Tues, Feb 18.
