On this class we went over our "last new thing" before Quiz #1, which is on Friday, Feb 7. Namely, we talked about the function of the dot in rhythmic notation.
We've got one new worksheet and #5 is still in process.
Homework #5: More Scales and Key Sigs
Worksheet #5 tackles the way musicians organize their scales, by memorizing all of the key signatures and thinking about the circle of fifths. This is explained on pp. 29-34 of our theory text.
Due date is Friday, Jan 31.
Homework #6: The Dot
Worksheet #6 asks you to add counts to a bunch of rhythms that include the dot. This is covered on pp. 24-26 of our textbook.
Due date is Tues, Feb 4.
