Class 22Wednesday, March 04

Welp, we gotta move forward. Today I assigned worksheet #10 (on the "smaller" intervals). #9 is in process, and some people still owe #7 and #8 (page backwards in the blog for those).

I basically have all of the elements for the midterms graded now. Everybody who is caught up on homework has an A and everybody who owes me stuff has a B or C+. Each homework just counts a LOT in the grading formula right now! Fundamentally everybody is actually doing fine as long as you do catch up.

Worksheet #9: Fancy Notes and Weird Triads

The concepts for Worksheet #9 were covered in our online session on Tuesday, and a little bit on Friday. Your weird triads are in the textbook on pp. 47-48 and the "fancy" note names are on pp. 42-43.

This assignment is due on Friday, March 6.

Worksheet #10: The Small Intervals

Worksheet #10 asks you to identify a bunch of "small" intervals (ranging from the minor second up to the perfect fifth). These are covered in our textbook on pp. 50-54.

Due date is Wednesday, March 11.

Suitable for Conducting Practice (in 5)
