In this class we did a few things:
- I handed back the Theory Quiz #2. Your score should now appear in your profile page.
- We learned about the roman numeral chords in major, and I dropped a new worksheet #14.
- We tried to write a melody in musescore.
Worksheet #14: Roman Numerals in Major
Worksheet #14 asks you to make and recognize a few different chords in different keys. I forgot to note it on the worksheet but this is covered on p. 58 of our textbook.
This worksheet is due on Tuesday, 11/26.
MuseScore
We are going to spend a few classes playing with MuseScore, the free notation software. Copies are installed on the four workstations we usually use, and of course you could put one on your own computer as well.
Final Project
Our final project will be a short composition that you will perform during the last week of classes.
It is due some time Dec 3-6.
